Aeon Flux the Movie?????

Do you remember Aeon Flux on MTV (North America) or Channel 4 (UK) in the early 90's? Fairly cult now, but definitely part of my heritage along with the mandatory Akira.

Now I'm not saying I promote scantily clad assassins with a death wish (it's all we had back then anyway) or that these are good examples of anime (I'm not) but what am I stunned about is that they're making Aeon into a movie.

Okay I'm sure I'm two steps behind everyone else but ... WOAH ... I'm sure this is going to rack up as one of the lamest cartoon cross-overs in film history and I'm including Scooby Doo in the list!
